The girls' basketball team won their first DBL game

The Smanggi girl basketball team played in the Development Basketball League (DBL) for the first match on Saturday, 7 September 2024. The event was a milestone for the Smanggi basketball team. In their first game, they defeated SMAN 4 Pasuruan with a score of 33–16. During the game, the team had excellent teamwork to gain their winning. The match was intense, but their performance enabled them to take over the rival basketball court until the end of the game. Siva, the team member, said that team performance was not optimal because of their fatigue. However, they were enthusiastic and passionate throughout the game. They succeed in maintaining a positive spirit to enjoy their first DBL match.

Teachers and ultras Smanggi excitedly sing their yells from the sidelines. It was important in motivating and strengthening the team’s performance. In addition, the dance team played a role-key in supporting the Smanggi basketball team. They also proudly impressed the audience with their magnificent performance. Putri, representative of the team, shared her hope for the next game, focusing on improving their performance, giving their best, and continuing their winning in the DBL tournament. The team committed to perform better in the next match to maintain their winning.
